Titanfall For Xbox 360 To Get Updates And DLCs Only After Xbox One And PC

Titanfall For Xbox 360 To Get Updates And DLCs Only After Xbox One And PC

You may not realize this, but Titanfall for the Xbox 360 is not made by Respawn. The Xbox 360 port of the game was handled by Bluepoint. It looks like they have done a pretty good job with the Xbox 360 version of the game, if you ask us.

However, because of this, the Xbox 360 version of the game will get its updates after the Xbox One and the PC version of the game. No one should be surprised by this, but Respawn Entertainment has confirmed the news on their website. So now we know.

Respawn says that, “Updates for the Xbox 360 will naturally follow behind similar updates for the PC and Xbox One. This timing difference is due to the same reasons that more time was needed to finish Titanfall for the Xbox 360.”
They also added, “Respawn must first finish their additions and improvements for the Xbox One and PC, and afterwards Bluepoint can then grab the latest and update the Xbox 360 version. We’re working with Respawn and Bluepoint to streamline the process and close the gap, allowing Xbox 360 updates to be published as closely as possible to Respawn’s updates.”

Limited Edition Mario Kart 8 Bundle Announced For The US

Limited Edition Mario Kart 8 Bundle Announced For The US

Back in March, we heard that Nintendo had announced a limited edition bundle for Mario Kart 8. The bundle comes with the game itself as well as with a Blue Shell figurine. Sadly, the bundle was announced only for Europe, so many fans around the world were pretty upset.

Well if you are living in New York, or knows someone living in New York, you may be in luck. Nintendo World Store has announced that they will be carrying the bundle, but it is a limited edition, so you better get yours quickly. Unfortunately, the Nintendo World Store does not seem to have online or phone orders, so if you don’t live in or near New York, you are out of luck. You may have to get someone to buy it for you or hope that it shows up on eBay. Of course you may pay more on Ebay.

No word on the price yet however. Hopefully it won’t be too expensive. We will give you more details as they emerge. Hopefully we will all be playing the game soon.

Xbox Live Gold requirements could be dropped for streaming

Xbox Live Gold requirements could be dropped for streaming

Consoles these days do so much more than just playing video games. You can even watch videos via Netflix and Hulu to name just two entertainment options. I imagine that many Xbox users are not happy that they have to pay for an Xbox Live Gold subscription just to access features like streaming movies.

Well, this requirement could soon be removed, according to Arstechnia. Their sources have informed them that Microsoft is planning to remove the requirement for an Xbox Live Gold subscription in order to view videos on Hulu or Netflix and other streaming media apps. Nice, but it sucks that people have had to pay for it up until this point.
