Google Fit was previewed at the conference yesterday, and Google plans to release a set of APIs that will allow developers to synchronize data across various devices including wearables, like the new Android Wear smart watches.

Modern Warfare 2 & 3 finally available for Mac

When it comes to video games on the Mac, you usually have to wait for the Mac version to be released after the PC version. There are some exceptions, but mostly you have to wait. Sometimes the wait is short, but sometimes it can take forever for the Mac version of game to be released.

Here’s some good news if you wanted to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 & 3. Both titles have officially made their way onto OS X computers, thanks to Aspyr Games who specializes in bringing popular Windows PC titles onto the OS X platform. Modern Warfare 2 is $14.99 and Modern Warfare 3 is $29.99.

These are discounted prices so don’t miss out and end up paying full price. The DLCs will have to be purchased separately and will cost more. You can download them via Valve’s Steam platform, or you can go to Aspyr’s website.

Modern Warfare 2 was released in 2009 while part 3 was released in 2011. So it is about time. Still they are fun titles so you will get your moneys worth for sure. Better late than never.

Back in April we heard that a number of companies had committed to bring anti theft features to their smartphones, and now a bill has been passed by the California Senate, that will see a smartphone kill switch added to devices by 2015.

Last month, Samsung, Apple, Google, HTC, Nokia and Microsoft all agreed to make smartphones harder to steal, and now this technology will become law in California by July of next year.
