When it comes to video games on the Mac, you usually have to wait for the Mac version to be released after the PC version. There are some exceptions, but mostly you have to wait. Sometimes the wait is short, but sometimes it can take forever for the Mac version of game to be released.
Here’s some good news if you wanted to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 & 3. Both titles have officially made their way onto OS X computers, thanks to Aspyr Games who specializes in bringing popular Windows PC titles onto the OS X platform. Modern Warfare 2 is $14.99 and Modern Warfare 3 is $29.99.
These are discounted prices so don’t miss out and end up paying full price. The DLCs will have to be purchased separately and will cost more. You can download them via Valve’s Steam platform, or you can go to Aspyr’s website.
Modern Warfare 2 was released in 2009 while part 3 was released in 2011. So it is about time. Still they are fun titles so you will get your moneys worth for sure. Better late than never.
Yesterday the ZTE Open C smartphone, which is a new Firefox OS device went on sale in the UK and Europe, the device is being sold exclusively through Ebay for the moment.
Now the ZTE Open C is available to buy through Ebay in the US, and the handset retails for $99.99, and it comes with Mozilla’s Firefox OS.
Console Battlefield 4 players patiently waiting for the highly anticipated release of the new Battlefield 4 server rental service to launch, will be pleased to know that from today console users can now set both Private and public battlefield 4 servers, thanks to the Rent-a-Server Program.
However DICE has discovered a rental time issue with the Rent-a-Server Program release on Microsoft’s Xbox One console and have temporarily removed the feature as they investigate the cause of the issue. Which will hopefully be sorted sooner rather than later.
Earlier this month it looked like The Amazing Spider-Man 2 game for Xbox consoles had been postponed, maybe even cancelled. Activision said that “when and whether ASM2 is released on Xbox One is TBD.” So this game’s release has been confusing to say the least. This game is no longer up in the air. In fact, it has landed.
It was originally to be released on April 29th in the U.S. and the game has now been released for Xbox.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is now available for both Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles. Digital download in the U.S. costs is $59.99 and $49.99. Want to play it on the PS4? Well, on May 2nd this title will be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and the PC.
