We first saw some photos of the new LG Optimus Exceed 2 back in March, the handset is now available from Verizon Wireless on a pre-paid basis without a contract for $79.99.
The LG Optimus Exceed 2 is Verizon’s version of the LG L70, and the handset comes with a 4.5 inch WVGA display that has a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.
We previously heard rumors about a Verizon Sony Xperia Z2, and now a photo of the handset has turned up on Sony’s website in Korea, along with Verizon branding on the back of the device, as you can see in the photo above.
As a reminder, the Sony Xperia Z2 comes with a 5.2 inch full high definition display that has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, and the device also features a quad core 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 processor from Qualcomm.
It looks like HTC will be launching another new device on Verizon Wireless, according to @evleaks, the HTC Desire 610 will shortly be landing on Verizon.
The HTC Desire 610m was first unveiled back in February at Mobile World Congress, the handset recently launched in the UK, and it will come with Android 4.2.2. Jelly Bean and HTC Sense 5.5.
The chocolaty Android 4.4 KitKat has reached most of the devices in the US, including the major carriers, except one: Verizon Wireless.
