We have been hearing rumors for some time that the Google Nexus devices which include smartphone and tablets are going to be replaced by Android Silver devices.
And now Google’s David Burke, who is head of Android Engineering at the Google Nexus program has confirmed that Nexus devices are here to stay.
The latest version of Google’s mobile OS is now official, Android 5.0 L, and Google has now released a developer preview of this new smartphone and tablet software.
Yesterday we got to see some photos of Android 5.0 L, and now we have a video of the software running on a Google Nexus 5, from the guys over at Phandroid.
We’ve heard a lot of news about the Android 4.4.3 KitKatÂ update in the past few days. The new version was spotted in the app store’s change log, as well as on many other occasions.
According to a new report, Google will start rolling out the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update for the Nexus devices on May 23rd, next Friday.
Back in March we heard that the new Google Nexus 8 tablet would be made by HTC, and the last thing we heard was that we can expect it to go on sale in June.
And now a new device with the codename ‘Flounder’ has been spotted by the guys over at the XDA Developers, the device is rumored to be the new HTC made Google Nexus 8.
The last thing we heard about the new Google Nexus 6 was that the device would be made by LG for Google, and now references to the Google Nexus 6 have been spotted in the Chromium Code Review.
As well as the new Google Nexus 6, references to the next Nexus tablet, the Google Nexus 8 were also spotted, we have been hearing more and more about the Nexus 8 recently.
