Last week we heard that the iPhone 6 was rumored to feature a resolution of 1704 x 960 pixels, the handset is said to come with two different display sizes, one with a 4.7 inch display, the other with a 5.5 inch display.

Apple has teamed up with LG Display and JDI to produce their displays for the iPhone 6, and now according to a recent report, Apple has chosen a third partner for the handsets display to meet the demand for the device, Innolux Displays.

Apple had apparently been in talks with Sharp and Samsung to produce the displays for the iPhone 6, but decided to go for Innolux Display as their third partner.

We have seen plenty of iPhone 6 mockups over the last few weeks, the device is said to come with a thinner and more rounded design than that of the iPhone 5S.

The new iPhone will come with Apple’s second generation 64-bit mobile processor, the Apple A8, and the handset is also expected to get more RAM than the iPhone 5S.

The next generation iPhone will also get a new camera, Apple are said to be using an 8 megapixel sensor for the handset, although it will come with Electronic Image Stabilization and a range of advanced features.

The iPhone 6 is expected to launch at the same time as the new Apple iWatch, the handset will come with Apple iOS 8, which will feature a number of health and fitness tracking features as will the iWatch.

We are expecting the 4.7 inch version of the new iPhone 6 to go on sale in September, the 5.5 inch version of the handset is expected slightly later in the year, possibly in October or November.

It will be interesting to see what other new features the iPhone 6 will get, as soon as we get some more information about the device, and some actual photos of it, we will let you guys know.
